ACCOMMODATIONS
STAY IN TRADITIONAL, RUSTIC, SUMMER CAMP CABINS
We built our 18 cabins for our overnight summer camp, with all the camp charm and basic necessities our campers require. Each one is unique and within walking distance to all that camp has to offer! They are traditional, rustic, one room, summer camp cabins with wood interior, and thin walls between the cabins. Most have front porches, offering stunning waterfront views. We want you to feel like you are back in summer camp when you stay with us, right down to the single width bunk beds that your family sleeps on. You are welcome to bring an air mattress if you prefer.
Due to Covid protocols & regulations, we can only permit one household per cabin.
Each cabin comes with:
- a private entrance for each ‘household’
- single bunk beds (and ample floor space if you'd prefer to BYO-air mattress)
- cubbies for storage
- a private bathroom in the cabin with hot and cold water
- electrical outlets
- a shower house with private stalls nearby
Not sure which cabin is right for your group? Don’t worry, no two cabins are alike at Kennebec - give us a call or send us an email, and let us know what your family needs. We'll do our best to match you with the perfect cabin. Pack for a summer camp stay including bedding, towels, extension cords, fans, bug spray, sun protection, and other household goods. We'll send you a suggested packing list before you arrive.

- Three delicious family style meals & two snacks each day
- We will try to accommodate special diets with advance notice, so please email or call us prior to booking
- Enjoy your meals safely with your family in our dining hall or tent, or find a private spot by the water, or at your cabin.
As a summer camp, we know how important it is to keep kids (and their parents) well-fed. No one wants our guests to be "Hangry". Let us know if you need an extra snack. Our kitchen staff will do their best to accommodate your family's needs.

If your group is looking for an action-packed getaway, we offer tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and many more incredible activities! Our staff run tubing, archery, and other activities at scheduled times during the day. Or choose what you like to do according to your own schedule.
You probably didn't know that the Great Canadian Trail - the longest recreational trail in the world goes right through Arden. You can access the trail about 7 km from our main camp area. So if you want to take a very long bike ride - please go ahead. We're also close to Bon Echo provincial park with its famous clay beach and other locations like Ottawa and Kingston for perfect day trips.

As part of our Covid-19 protocols, Kennebec Family Retreats will :
- Follow & enforce COVID-19 safety practices including social distancing and mask wearing guidelines
- Ask guests who refuse to follow COVID protocols to leave
- Use enhanced cleaning processes
- Limit reservations to allow for social distancing
- Allow only one household at a time at each activity
- Screen staff daily for COVID
- Screen guests at check-in for COVID
